Sharing Life Community Outreach serves as the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) Hub in Northeast Dallas County to distribute food at our in-house pantry and through a network of Community Distribution Partners (CDPs) and Partner Agencies.
CDPs are the "spokes" who have staff or volunteers pick up the food from Sharing Life and give it to clients at their location. Sharing Life acts as a mini-food bank for organizations too small or not suited to be a North Texas Food Bank member agency. By becoming a Sharing Life CDP, these dedicated agencies and organizations can offer their community an improved quality, quantity and variety of food. They are also able to offer clients nutrition, emotion management, and goal-setting education.
